Meet The Founders
Eileen Harkins
As the President and Owner of Energen Power Group, Eileen brings with her over 20 years of experience on the business side of construction. Prior to founding Energen in 2023 with her brother Joe, she held various roles at general contracting firms and most recently as Vice President with a site and civil infrastructure company. At Energen, she drives the company's strategic vision, spearheads business development efforts, and oversees all financial operations.
Joe Harkins
As the Vice President of Energen Power Group, Joe followed in family tradition and spent the past 20 years working in IBEW Local 103. He performed his apprenticeship at the JATC graduating in 2009 and worked his way up to a Foreman position working on life science and other complex and challenging projects throughout the Boston and Cambridge markets. In his current role Joe is responsible for coordination with vendors, materials and equipment procurement, labor tracking, and ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget . Joe is a licensed Master Electrician in both Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
